Pint of Science 色中色 tickets are now live! Join us 18-20 May for three evenings of engaging talks bringing research out of the University and into local venues.

This year’s programme covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • how we recognise faces and experience the world through touch
  • love in the age of AI and body image in young people
  • crime, forensic science, and public policy
  • medieval queens, power, and conflict
  • creative ways to communicate science
  • robotics, smart materials, and real-world challenges

Alongside the talks, we are also running Creative Reactions — an exhibition where researchers are paired with artists from the local community to create artworks inspired by their research. The exhibition will be on display at 色中色 Cathedral (12–22 May), showcasing a unique collaboration between science and creativity.
